Tickets Now on Sale for “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)”

You can now buy your tickets for “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)” online through Austix for $15 each. The show will run from September 9-25 on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8pm and Sunday matinees at 5pm. The play is a parody of all William Shakespeare’s works, crammed into 97 minutes. Be sure to make it to the opening night–we’ll be serving champagne! We’ll see you all on the 9th!

We are half way through rehearsals and things are looking great! We have a good number of props and costumes already and are starting to incorporate them into rehearsals.

Shout out to Jennifer Davis for loaning us some great costumes!!!

Running Crew Needed!

The Chaotic Theatre Company is seeking running crew for their upcoming production of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged). First rehearsal begins on Monday, August 22nd. Performances are September 9-25. Must have reliable transportation and cell phone. Job requires the ability to follow directions and work well under pressure. This is a prop heavy show, so attention to detail is critical!

Complete Works enters 2nd week of rehearsals!

As we enter the 2nd week of rehearsals I’m finding that the cast is much more talented that previously believed. Not that they were once assumed to be bad or simply decent, but that they have gone from great to amazing. They are dedicated, ambitious, and their work initiative is unmatched. We are already ahead of schedule as everyone is memorizing lines faster than requested. We are excited to share this piece with the community and the cast is tickled to death with anticipation to get to perform it.

Complete Works rehearsals under way!

We are having so much fun with rehearsals already! I can tell it’s going to be a great and entertaining show for everyone. Three manly men playing all of Shakespeare’s tragic heroins? Awesome!

Here is a picture from today’s rehearsal. Dave Stone-Robb and Andy Black warm up with Director, James Jackson Leach. It’s a pretty high energy show, so proper stretching is very much needed.
